What day?

Well last night the kids had a bit of a late night despite my insisting they didn't since I knew exactly what was happening today! By the time anyone woke up it was well after 9 and we had to be at church by 10:30! no time for breakfast, barely enough time to get dressed, and nobody remembered to open the train!

Today was the church nativity play and their advent activity was to perform in their church nativity play and read the little crooked christmas tree, by the time they found out what their activity was they had already done it but we still have the book to read!
A very long Story but worth the read, A little spruce asks the same 2 questions of every creature he meets 'what is christmas? what is a christmas tree?' and gets no reply until one day he shelters a white dove from a storm and through that friendship he learns the meaning of love sacrifice and christmas. I haven't read it to the kids yet I'm saving it for bedtime But I love this story, it takes the commercialism away from christmas for a moment and reminds us all the true meaning of christmas.

At church I recieved a programme for the nativity play today it listed all the Performers but they asked Teo to join in at the last minute so his name wasn't on it. I decided to write it in myself but only had a blue pen.

There was a C in Donalds last name that didn't belong but oh well he still had a major role! Joseph!
and Teo was a little shepard! He had so much fun! and Joy was a little angel!

Teo wanted to see his brother and Joy was a cheeky little angel sticking out her tongue!

Donald and Joy did really well in the play they did exactly what they were supposed to, there was no keeping Teo in one place though!

It was really fun, I couldn't stop smiling, I was so proud of them all!
